Maria Cappella

Maria has decided to work in health and human services and in January 2010 joined CMHA (Community Mental Health Affiliates), a private non-profit provider of mental health and substance abuse treatment services, headquartered in New Britain, CT. Maria's primary responsibility is providing administrative support to the President & CEO, as well as the Executive VP & CFO.
Prior to joining CMHA, Maria worked for 11 years as an Administrative Assistant at The Worx Group, LLC, a marketing agency, and for 15 years at Southern New England Telephone Company (SNET). Maria has 25+ years experience in Executive Administration and Client Services.
Maria attended Briarwood College in Southington, CT and received a certification in Medical Assisting. She has had training in Safety Compliance and Practices, Sexual Harassment Law, Business Writing Skills & Leadership For Supervisors.
She has volunteered her services at Special Olympics of Connecticut, The Heart Association and St. Mary's Hospital.
Maria currently serves as Secretary, board of directors for Jane Doe No More, Inc.
