Choose a Blog Topic, Title and Picture
Mission-Aligned: All blog posts should support Jane Doe No More’s mission of empowering survivors, raising awareness, and educating the community on sexual crimes.
Respect & Sensitivity: Content should be survivor-centered, and respectful of different experiences. Avoid language that may be triggering or re-traumatizing.
Authenticity & Storytelling: Personal experiences are encouraged but should be shared in a way that empowers both the writer and the reader. Avoid excessive graphic details.
Educational Value: Posts should provide insight and/or support for survivors, allies, and advocates. Topics may include healing, advocacy, legal rights, self-care, and prevention.
Formatting & Style
Word Count: 300 - 500 words per post.
Tone: Professional yet personal, informative, and inspiring.
Structure: Use headings, short paragraphs, and bullet points where appropriate for readability.
Citations: If referencing statistics, studies, or external sources, provide proper attribution.
Submission & Review Process
Editing: Jane Doe No More reserves the right to edit for clarity, grammar, and alignment with our mission.
Approval: All posts will be reviewed and require the author to digitally sign Jane Doe No More's Blog Consent form prior to publishing
Original Work: Submissions must be original content.
Engagement & Promotion
Social Sharing: Once published, authors are encouraged to share their blog post on social media to help spread awareness.
