I am a victim of rape during a home invasion by an armed, masked perpetrator. 

My challenging journey from victim to survivor began at the onset of the crime when I encountered revictimization that lasted for many years. I faced a lot of barriers in my fight for justice and attribute my perseverance to my strong faith in God, loving family and friends, and knowledge of the truth. Now, I work every day to help prevent sexual crimes and break the stigmas surrounding them so that future victims will be treated with dignity and respect. Learn more
